1 Distortion types

Choose between 5 distortion types.

2 Gate reduction

Determine the amount of reduction applied by the noise gate.

3 Drive boost

Add a +18 dB gain boost to the drive section.

4 Mid-side processing

Select which part of the signal will be processed: stereo, mid or side.

5 Drive amount

Determine the amount of distortion you wish to apply.

6 Gate

Activate or deactivate the noise gate. Very useful to saturate only the loudest part of your signal.

7 Autogain compensation

Calculate the Auto Gain Compensation profile that will be applied depending on your signal's loudness.

8 EQ position

Change the equalizer's position in the processing chain: pre or post distortion.

9 Vertical EQ

Vertical intuitive EQ with an high-pass filter, a low-pass filter, a peak filter and a tilt.

10 Linear phase filters

Toggle between IIR and FIR linear phase filters in the entire signal path. This prevents phase cancelation issues when blending your wet and dry signal with the Mix knob (FIR will add latency and CPU overhead).

11 Tone adjustment

Adjust the tone to make the sound brighter or darker.

12 Console remote

Enable console remote between several Spicerack instances.

13 Wet gain

Adjust the volume of the wet signal, before blending it with the dry signal.

14 Dry wet

Adjust the blending ratio between dry and wet signals.

Spicerack’s smooth Drive knob ranges from subtle saturation to aggressive distortion with no level jumps thanks to the unique Auto gain compensation and calibration features.
The linear phase toggle results in perfect wet/dry blending.

Intuitive linear EQ

Shape your sound pre/post distortion with linear filters to alleviate phase issues when blending wet and dry signals. This EQ's unique vertical design allows you to work intuitively by establishing a direct connection between what you feel and see.

Console remote

Adding a little bit of distortion to every track is often more subtle and sounds more natural than adding distortion to a summing bus.
With Console Remote, you can control all Spicerack instances in your session from a single interface and dial in the right amount of distortion for a real analog feel.

Gate control

Get more control and avoid messy situations. Distortion can quickly get chaotic and cloud your mix.
Spicerack's Gate Control allows you to only distort the loudest part of your signal and preserve the integrity of your sound.
